Since 1957, we have enjoyed a solid reputation for making our members number one and providing the best financial value possible. We began as Unit No. 1 Federal Credit Union, serving the employees of Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors.
Over the years, we added over 200 member groups and organizations, growing to serve over 45,000 members. In 2003, we began a new era by obtaining a community-wide charter that enables anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school or volunteers in Niagara County to join. We also adopted a new name that reflects our increased focus on serving the whole community… Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union.
While we continue to put our members first, these changes have allowed us to truly become a community-wide credit union, further strengthening our financial position and allowing more peopleto become eligible for membership. They also ensure the long-term stability and soundness of the credit union. As we continue to grow, we will be able to provide all the financial products and services you need, while maintaining the traditional values that credit unions represent.

As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union is committed to our members. We will uphold our fundamental responsibility to actively serve people within our field of membership and, as appropriate, the communities in which they live.
