The host city of Superbowl XL has been seeing a revival of young professionals moving into downtown and areas like Midtown and New Center. This recent shift in population has helped with the development of new high-rise condominiums, retail and casinos. Detroit Metro is now home to three casinos, MGM Grand, Greektown and Motor City.
The area has been home to several movies, in fact, legislators have passed tax incentives for producers to film movies in the area. The area has also been the setting for many drama and sitcom TV shows.
